What they faced
The Outlook
Vita Safety runs health and safety consultancy work across several sectors, but education was where the business wanted to grow. Schools, universities, multi-academy trusts, independent schools. The problem was that nobody in that world was finding them through search. One landing page covered the whole sector, and it only brought seven sessions in a year.
Where we started
The Assessment
School business managers don’t spend their afternoons searching for health and safety consultants. Budgets are tight, time is tighter, and most decisions get made on a recommendation rather than a Google result. That makes search a narrow window rather than a wide net. Vita needed to be there for the moments people did look, and right now they weren’t.
What we found came down to two things. The site barely appeared in relevant education searches, so there was almost nothing to build on. And the single page trying to cover primary schools, secondary schools and academy trusts at once wasn’t really speaking to any of them. A business manager at a primary school and someone signing off budgets for a multi-academy trust aren’t reading the same page for the same reasons.
Where we started, and why
Rather than rewrite the existing page, we built it out into a proper hub, with separate pages for primary and secondary education underneath it. The easy version of this project would have been a content refresh. We wanted the structure to match how people in the sector actually search, which meant working out what a school actually needs to know before it treats a consultant as a serious option, then building pages around that rather than around whatever looked tidiest.
What changed?
The Business Impact
Across the whole site, organic sessions rose 228% comparing the most recent twelve months against the twelve before, with organic active users up 159% and new users up 154%. Checking August 2026 against August 2025 shows the same pattern held into the most recent month, with sessions up 236.6% year on year.
The education hub is where the shift shows most clearly. Sessions went from 7 to 72 across the year. Search Console only has data going back to October 2025, but comparing the 150 days after the hub launched against the 150 days before it, clicks went from 0 to 42 and impressions climbed from 215 to 3.3k.
That visibility is already turning into real interest. Since the hub launched, two multi-academy trusts have found Vita through search and made contact, organisations from exactly the segment the hub was built to reach. These enquiries prove the pages are putting the business in front of the right people at the right moment.
Launch isn’t where we stop
Proper event and conversion tracking only went in during mid 2026, so there’s not yet a clean read on how many of these visits turn into enquiries. That tracking is running now. The next report should be able to say not just that more of the right people are arriving, but what happens once they do.
